Birthday Food For Filipino's

Last Friday, luckily one of my best mate before invited me to join her birthday celebration. It was fine, and I enjoyed the bonding together since we parted our ways as co-worker 3 years ago. I am sharing here the supper yummy food that we ate. Thanks to my friend who truly invited me!

Embotido (Pork Roll Pinoy)

Who loves embotido? Well me yes, when I was at my aunt before when I was in college she usually cook embotido for us. Tasted good and yummy! For you folks, who wants to taste and try Pork Roll Pinoy check out the ingredients below:

-500g ground pork, lean
-60g Vienna Sausage
-40g onions
-25g chorizo de bilbao (El Rey Brand)
-90g sweet pickles, thinly chopped
-25g cheddar cheese, shredded
-1 pc. Egg, beaten
-20g Mama Sita Shanghai Mix
-1/4 evaporated milk
-5g gelatin powder
-29g bell pepper
-1 tsp Mama Sita Annatto Powder
-3/4 tsp raisin
-1 pc hard-boiled egg, quartered

Procedure:
Combine all ingredients and shape into a roll or loaf. Wrap with sinsal or wax paper, then in cheesecloth, tie both ends. Steam for an hour or bake for 45 minutes at 350F. Then ready to serve and eat.
